What are Pool Pavers?

Swimming pool pavers are a type of stone, brick, or concrete material used to construct the poolside / patio / decking area surrounding your pool. Pool pavers come in many different types, sizes, shapes, colors, and patterns allowing you to truly customize your poolside area however you’d like. • Pool pavers are low maintenance. Most resist algae and mildew.
  • Most are slip-resistant.

Types of Pool Pavers

  • Brick Pool Pavers – If you’re looking for a more traditional look, brick is the way to go. Brick pavers are also unaffected by chlorine, have a smooth texture, and are slip-resistant.

Stone pavers can also be sealed in a way that makes them slip-resistant, chlorine resistant, and salt-water resistant. Some popular choices are Travertine, Limestone, Bluestone, and Granite.
  • Concrete Pool Pavers – Concrete pavers are a common pool decking choice as they are very smooth while also being slip-resistant, salt resistant, and chlorine resistant. They are also versatile, durable, and affordable.

When trying to choose the right pool paver to go with, you’ll want consider several factors such as the appearance finish, durability, glare, heat, pool coping, and sealing.
